Poptasi Pastry – Dangerously Delicious Macarons

I LOVE macarons. Okay, that’s not much of a secret. Everybody with tastebuds and a heart loves macarons. Those little buggers are tasty! And, gluten free – which totally blew my mind, because I just automatically assume that everything gluten free is kind of…bland.
But I digress. Let’s just say that when I spied Poptasi on a street in De Pijp, I made a beeline straight to their counter.
Now, they have all the usual flavors like strawberry and pistachio, which are lovely and delicious. But for the complete experience, be sure to try their interpretation of classic Dutch flavors like stroopwafel & spekkoek. Feeling adventurous? Try the rooibas or Szechuan macarons. And if you become completely obsessed, they even offer workshops so you can learn how to make these magical cookies yourself.
