Are you a secret agent on the run? Or maybe just hungry? Come in from the cold and grab some R&R at Milwaukee’s only spy-themed bar & restaurant.

At Safe House, the fun begins by finding the place. We’ll give you a clue…International Exports Ltd. on Front Street is not exactly as it seems…

Once you are inside, Control will ask for your password. Don’t have it? You’ll be able to prove your loyalty by accomplishing a mission. Your fellow spys at the bar will be watching your performance via CCTV, but don’t worry, Control has never turned away an agent.

We recommend exploring the rooms and marveling over the spy and spy-movie memorabilia, then plop yourself down at the bar, have a cocktail and plan your escape.

Know before you go:

Open Monday – Thursday from 11:30am to 1:30am, Friday & Saturday from 11:30am to 2am, and Sunday 11:30am to midnight. Food is served until 9pm. The food is of Applebee’s caliber, take that for what you will.

Bottom line:

A Milwaukee institution, and a quirky, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Put it on your MKE to-do list.
