Google’s Flight Search is Brainy & Brawny

Google launched it’s flight search today – now users can either search for results right from the search bar or go to google.com/flights/ to find flights.

The plus side – it’s fast – really really really fast, and the interface is lovely (sorry, that’s the web designer in me talking). The minus side – it couldn’t find me a flight from Madison to San Francisco in December. Hmmm. I don’t think it’ll be replacing Hipmunk and Kayak yet, but I’ll definitely be testing it out alongside these other tools when I book my next airfare. Google products typically get better with age.
